Unfortunately, cancer has an important place in my family and among my friends. “The Pink Ribbon” gave me the opportunity to support breast cancer screening for women in Tianjin, China. The idea was to make a small souvenir or gift out of ceramic reminding of China. During my first residency in Jingdezhen March 2019 I had the idea of the “Jiaozi and Baozi” (Chinese dumplings) Salt & Pepper sets. These were sold for “The Pink Ribbon” charity events in 2020 and 2021.
